Fire Dance

I love having three day weekends, and moreover, I love having a three day weekend with my husband! We did so many fun things. Friday, we went to the desert with Brett and Emily, Lauren and Morgan, Jake and Thos. What a great time. We took our trucks and built a huge fire. It took awhile to get the fire going, but once we did-it was huge! Matt decided he wanted to dance on the fire, we all think you are cool Matt. On Saturday, we slept in, made waffles and watched one of the best movies ever: Cutaway! No really, everyone should waste two hours of their day watching this. If you like Dennis Rodman, this is your movie. Monday, we celebrated the great MLK by running fun errands then going to Four Peaks with Morgan and Lauren. Matt thought he was going to make an igloo, but one problem...there was no snow! It was fun bouncing around in the trucks and feeling a little queasy by the end. Great weekend.
Pictures of the fire. I forgot to rotate them, so rotate yourself instead, that should be interesting.

Just two newlyweds! Lauren and Morgan, you guys are still newlyweds!

The girls: Lauren, Me, Emily

Matt dancing on the fire! Again, you have to rotate it yourself!

Anyone want some hot chocolate?

The night before our open house in Mesa, we were washing some cups we were going to use for hot chocolate. There were about 140 cups, give or take. Matt, decided he wanted to make the ultimate pyramid of blue cups. With the help of Morgan, they acutally pulled it off with no spillage! Oddly enough, there were an exact number of cups to build the pyramid. Building it was a lot more fun than taking it down!

Donde Esta El Bano?

Thats right folks...Matt and I are officially international travelers. Well, as least married international travelers! We went on a cruise for our honeymoon to Mexico. Our ports of call were Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. It was fantastic. We ate, slept, ate and then slept some more. It was fun. Here are a lot of pictures from our adventure.

Right before we got on the boat, our boat (The Dawn Princess) is in the background!

Our first night on board. It was a semi-formal night for dinner. What a luxurious cabin we had. It was awesome, it had a balcony.

Our first port, Cabo San Lucas. We took a boat ride, that had a glass bottom out to Lover's Beach. Just two lovers hanging out on Lover's Beach, perfect. The water was so cold, so we did not get into the ocean, except for when I fell out of the boat!

A nice little market place in Cabo!

This is us in Puerto Vallarta! We did the zip line across the canopy. The highest cable was 250 ft. in the air. The longest cable was 1600 ft. high and we got up to 40 mph! Talk about a rush!

We make a harness and a top hat look good!

My husband is so cute! Here is another picture of our room with the balcony in the background!

No Longer The Future Mrs. Porter, I Am NOW Mrs. Porter!

The wedding day has come and gone. What a wonderful day to be sealed in the temple with the love of my life for all eternity. We got married on December 28th, for those of you who didn't know. The sealing was at 9am, which means I got up before the sun, alot before. After the sealing we took pictures and it was COLD outside. While we were walking from pose to pose, Matt gave me his coat to wear. What a sweetheart! Anyways, here are some pictures. If you want to see more, you are just going to have to come over and visit us in our new house!
